Meet the Team: Liz Buckley
Position: Duty Manager
Life motto: I actually don’t have a motto that I live by, I try to take every day as it comes.
Passions & interests: I have always enjoyed being outside in the countryside, wandering through forests and fields. My passions are horse riding and walking, exploring new places and visits to National Trust properties whenever I get the opportunity.
Interesting fact: In October I became a Freeman of the City of York.
Do you take part in any sports? I play netball every week in one of the local leagues. I’m not particularly good but I love it; it’s a really good way of improving fitness and it’s good fun.
What is your favourite thing about Supersonic? The thing that drew me to Supersonic was the fact that it’s unlike any other gym. I’ve been to gyms before and felt out of place because I’m not a body builder, and I’m not training for a specific goal; I just wanted to improve my fitness but wasn’t too confident about how to do it, and I didn’t feel as though I could approach anyone.
Supersonic is completely different. It’s a welcoming place where people can go to work out, meet friends, relax and just have a good time. It’s a family and we all want each client to love every minute there as much as we do.
